Ads on France 24

France 24 received the green light from the French Direction générale de la Consommation, de la Concurrence et de la Répression des Fraudes (DGCCRF) to broadcast ads around the world as well as in France. However, France 24 is required to broadcast only transnational ads (à la CNN). The decision is set to reassure French national news channels, which feared a drop in ad revenues after the launch of France 24.
