France 24: Live Dec. 7
November 29, 2006 at 7:43 pm | In France 24, Programming | 9 CommentsFrance 24 will debut one day earlier than usually planned. The broadcast version of the French international news channel is slated to start on December 7 at 8.20pm, instead of December 8.
France 24 will also be available online in streaming video from December 6 at 8.20pm.
France 24’s competitor launched

Available on cable in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa, the new network is expected to be a major France 24 competitor. Both networks are expected to bring a different point of view on the news to offset the American and British leadership from CNN, Fox News and the BBC.

Thirty six hours later, on December 8, the network will be available over cable and satellites in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
France 24 did not release any details concerning the programming at time of launch.
