France 24 Live on the Champs Elysées

The new French International news network will be live on giant viewing screens on the Champs-Elysées this evening. France 24 installed the screens from the Arc de Triomphe to the Place de la Concorde. A party for the launch of the new network will take place tonight in the gardens of the Louvre museum.

Hace falta una fuerte voz europea en la comunicación global. Ojalá France 24 rompa el monopolio de EEUU sobre las noticias, y ayude a que haya un mundo mejor informado!

Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!

Petite critique: sur le ruban intitule “Sports” vous ecrivez d’un Chinese “weightafter”. Petit melange d’anglais et d’allemand. Que je sache, nous disons “weighlifter”.

Admiration: comme aurait dit ma belle-mere qui etait une dame tres raffinee de Virginie, “Andre Sanke is pretty to look at”, expression un peu desuete mais charmante, comme Ms. Sanke. Son anglais est excellent et elle a un petit accent aglo/saxon tres agreable en francais. Qu’elle n’aprenne jamais a prononcer “France 24″ comme une Francaise.

Il y a des annees que je regarde France 3 sur le Web. Audrey Pulvar, toute aussi “pretty to look ar at” a maintenant de la concurrence.

Enfin! Une chaine qui j’espère sera à la hauteur de l’attente de tous ceux qui veulent entendre une voix internationale non censurée et en français en plus.
